Rubber Band Man by Mumford & Sons & Hozier MP3 Download
Mumford & Sons and Hozier have joined forces on the stirring new single Rubber Band Man, marking their first official studio collaboration.
The track begins with gentle acoustic strums at Long Pond Studios in upstate New York, then builds into a soaring folk-soul anthem. Produced by Aaron Dessner (of The National), it blends the reflective lyricism of Hozier with the emotive vocal swells of Marcus Mumford.
Lyrically the song uses the metaphor of a “rubber band man” someone emotionally stretched between pulling away and coming back, caught between vulnerability and division.
It’s released just months after Mumford & Sons’ album Rushmere and signals a new creative phase for both artists.
Quotable Lyrics:
“You’re a world away / but you’re still the same / I know you by your heart / And I will call you by your name.”
